Gifted Gorgeousness SAL - September

I just noticed that it's the 15th and time for another GGSAL update (it's nearly 9PM here) :D The SAL is hosted by Jo and you can take a look at her and everyones progress here

I only have two projects to show this month.

First up is my Map of Middle Earth (I'm sure you'll be tired of it by the end of this year... but I don't think I will have an update next month, I need a break from it), I finished the Haed Challenge, yay!
Here is my progress as of last month:
And now, page 4 is done and we have a total of 31 100 stitches:
It's great to see the writing appear, it's a bit more interesting than all the background :D But I want to work on something else now ;-)

I also did some work on my Dog Bookshelf piece. I want to finish this soon, so I decided that I will stitch one row of blocks per week (520 stitches), at least that's my plan, I only started last week :D

Anyway, last month it looked like this:
And now, as you can see I am not done with this weeks row (just started tonight, I guess I'll finish it tomorrow):
When this row is done, I will have a total of 80 rows (so work for 8 weeks) to go, the end is in sight =)

Thanks for all the lovely comments concerning my new wolf chart, by now I am pretty sure that it will be a 2017 start. I have lot's of plans for 2017, oh my! Another reason to finish the dog bookshelf piece. There is no chance that I can finish my stocking this year, but I will try and get as much progress in as possible to have a good start for 2017. So there will be an update on the stocking next month and I also plan to get my Wolf Kiss on the frame for October =)

Happy stitching!

  1. Both these pieces look amazing. Well done on getting the page finish on Middle Earth it's looking fantastic. You are really close to the finish on the dog book shelf as well, best of luck with that. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to over the month.
